Life Goes On

Good morning to all in the blogsphere.

I am sure some of you have heard by now of the recent turmoil on our newly created Conservative Moms for America.  I am thankful that God sees all things and will give His account of life from His prospective in the end.  I must say though that God is moving me forward and I wish all who have left us well. I have been around long enough to know that when things like this happens people will leave and emotions will flare.  But God has kept me contained in all of this.  I have and always will admire the many wonderful women that God provided for me to start my work in this fight to take back our country for God.  But I must say, I have an incredible peace that most would not expect in a time like this.

Even after parting ways with close trusted friends, my heart feels no hard feelings.  Today I just feel like it's another day to work in the things of the LORD.  There are always those who will take sides and have issue, but I know that there is a God that is high and lifted up who knows exactly my hearts intent and motives and He will deal with what He finds according to what He finds, not what people perceives or even what I perceive.  From this experience, I just wanted to encourage all of you that are working in this fight to keep fighting.  Attacks will come, misunderstandings will happen, and people will draw their own conclusions, but each man will be held accountable for their own actions.  So keep fighting for our freedoms and liberties and for our country to come back to that place where God sits as our Sovereign leader.

I am thankful that God gives us grace to learn and grow in this life, but we can not leave our experiences even when they are not the most favorable, being changed in a negative manner.  In all of life's seasons, there is a place to grow and learn.  But we don't become bitter or apathetic because that only prevents God from showing us His way.  The Scriptures tell us that each day we must deny ourselves, pick up our cross and follow Him.  He has already provided victory, but we must show that our faith is one that can endure for us in this life.  God has already prepared me for dealing with painful experiences so I can look to Him and say, okay God what should I take from this one.  God is just amazing, He really is.  He wants to mold and grow us and show us how to follow His will.  As long as we believe that life goes on, and that will be faithful to guide us through this journey He created for us, God will take us to incredible places.

I am sure based on the opinions of others involved, many will form their opinions, but they have a right to.  This is what we get to enjoy as Americans, our freedom to draw our own conclusions and opinions.  So today I just wanted to encourage you to know that God is aware of every detail of our lives.  There is nothing hidden from Him.  Circumstances arise but it is not the circumstance that makes or breaks us but the way we handle or react to them.  For me, God has more and I sense more,  so life goes on as I seek to do the will of my Father.  If you are in the midst of a hard circumstance, don't allow that circumstance to cloud your judgment.  I leave you with Proverbs 1:1-7,

The proverbs of Solomon the son of David, king of Israel:
2 To know wisdom and instruction,
To perceive the words of understanding,
3 To receive the instruction of wisdom,
      Justice, judgment, and equity;
4 To give prudence to the simple,
To the young man knowledge and discretion—
5 A wise man will hear and increase learning,
And a man of understanding will attain wise counsel,
6 To understand a proverb and an enigma,
The words of the wise and their riddles.
7 The fear of the LORD is the beginning of knowledge,
But fools despise wisdom and instruction.

  1. I don't know what problems you had, but recently in my own life, I see that when we put ourselves "out there" either in trying to help or make a difference, we need to remember that are only human and make mistakes. We can't let others get us down when we make the inevitable mistakes, because our intentions are good, and as you suggest the errors will help us the next time to know the right thing to do.

  2. Thanks Beth,

It was more of a misunderstanding of roles and what was expected. I think sometimes those who are Christians forget that we have a different set of standards to live by and a different way of reacting to things. But like I have said, I learned and now I know to let everyone know how things are run and what to expect in their roles on a continual basis. But even with that we have work to do and a goal to accomplish and we have to move beyond or difference. I do hope though that those who are Christians and conservatives will learn to work together for the good of turning this country around. As long as we are not neglecting our principles I think we should give each other grace. Would you believe this all steam rolled just because of a name change?

  3. Hi Mary,

I know nothing about the circumstances that prompted this post but I do agree with your response and I admire your patient trust in our Sovereign God and that you place pleasing Him and living transparently before Him in first place!

  4. Dear Mary,
Rest assured, the world is coming against you because you are His. Remember that Jesus told us that the world will hate us, but it hated Him first. If we truly belong to Him, we will be persecuted for our beliefs. There are those who claim to belong to Him, yet we cannot see a difference in their actions and those of the secular world. If it looks like the world and acts like the world, then it must belong to the world. God has called us to be a peculiar people. Please continue to stand strong and do what you know God has called you to do. When pressure is on people, their true character and integrity is exposed. I pray that yours remains true to God's calling on your life.

  5. Thank you guys so much. God wants to mold us and shape us into the image of His dear Son and He will use life's issues to be our molder. I just want to bring Him glory and show that faith in God works, it is not a piece of cake but it works all the time. If we stop looking at ourselves and take time to hear and follow what it is God may be saying to us we might not be in this mess as a country. We have to get to our goal of changing this country and we need to be patient and humble in order to reach that goal. Thank you all so much for stopping by to comment.

  6. Mary, I don't know the circumstances and with my own family and ministerial schedule I'm not able to keep up at times but I have prayed for you and all the ladies that are standing with you and for those who have walked away.

Servant-leadership can be challenging but when we follow the Holy Spirit's leading we are given the strength and wisdom to make wise choices and to bare up under the pressures.

Any time we desire our lives to be used by the LORD to glorify HIM, it puts us in vulnerable places especially for misunderstandings because satan's goal is always to divide and destroy.

If as Christians we FIRST walked with that awareness we would be more loving and patient with each other and at times retreat and cool down and then pray and talk with one another and keep serving as we should but often emotions get in the way...

I'm not sure if I'm on point with the situation experienced here but please know that I'm praying...

Blessings in Jesus Name. Stay FOCUSED dear sister.

  9. Thank you all, Lisa Shaw you are on target. But even when people react within their own way of acting, I must remain committed to Christian principles. I can not do anything else but be led by the Spirit and in this he is telling me He will take care of it. We will all be held accountable for our own actions and God tells us to show partiality to no man. As Christians we must all Christ to guide our choices. Regardless of how dear a person may be to us, there is always two sides to a story and we must be peace makers. I understand that sometimes people react from hurt feelings and so I must show grace and not the same type of behavior. We have so much work to do in turning this nation around we can not be allow the enemy to cause us to be distracted. Thank you all for your prayers, I need prayer so please keep it up for God's wisdom and guidence and that I continue to allow the spirit to prevail and never give into the flesh.

  10. Mary,
Thank you for the post...I had no idea that something had happened, but I did notice that some people had "disappeared." I am a little surprised that things would have elevated to such a level, because you seem to me (in the brief time I've known you) to be quite easy-going, level-headed and open-minded. I, too, have faith that things will work out for the best. We have a long road to travel ahead and your words and actions serve as a guiding light for us all.

  12. Thanks Allison,

Conservative Moms for America will be around for the long haul. We understand that the real credibility of any work is the ability to stay on track. I have a great group of supporters and encouragers and patriots who want to see this nation changed. I try to be fair but I will not be walked over or forced to do anything that I don't believe God has laid on my heart to do. Most people know that about me and it creates many issues for me. But it's okay. Earlene, thank you so much for the time you have spent on the site. I wish you the best in your future endeavors.

  14. Thanks Adrienne,

It blesses me when I get messages from my sisters and brothers in the LORD, because you all know me and you know that I would never mistreat anyone to get my own way. However God has placed me in a place of leadership and I am obligated to abide in the things He gives to me, some may not understand that but in the family of Christ, that's the way it goes. Keep in touch.

  15. My dear sister Mary, So sorry to hear of your heartache that you are going through. God will see you through. Just rememember this relates to putting on the whole armour of God, to be able to withstand against the fiery darts of satan.

We can expect many trials and tribulations to come into our lives. We need to be ready and to be prepared. Remember the firm foundation that we stand on, the LORD Jesus Christ and His Word.
