9/12 Moms Tea Parties

Good Evening blogosphere,

It's early in the morning here but I needed to get this posted before I forget.  Our new site launched this week.  We have been having a very interesting time in our first week.  Our site is distinctfully different than what you may think a mom's network site would consist of.  We have a variety of blogs and forums, touching on both the spiritual and political issues in our nation.  I believe that America's demise reaches much deeper than surface politics and cleaning out our congress.  What has happened in our country over the last 50 years is a complete hijacking of the mind.  The liberal left has created ideologies, policies and viewpoints that has destroy the individual which in turn has destroy our moral fabric.  In order for us to have a true transformation in this country we must deal with the issue of ones heart.  Our site has many resources that does just that.

I believe that if we only change the political makeup of our congress and heads of states, and do nothing to change the condition of how Americans think, we will find ourselves back in the very place we are right now and things will only get worst.  The second principle of the 9/12 project happens to be the first and foremost for me, it says that "I believe in God and He is the center of my life."  This concept is what will move God back to the center as we refocus our hearts, souls, and mind spiritually.  Then real change will come.  This however takes work.  It is said that our site is too Christian, and therefore we will not receive the kind of membership support seen by more inclusive sites.  My response to that, is if all we are is another networking site that looks to show off our membership then we have missed the opportunity to make a lasting and impactful change for the future of our children.

When I heard this I discovered one of the most critical problems that exist in our country.  The conditioning by the left to cause people of faith to hide their faith in order that the non-believer is not offended.  Christianity is offensive, because it illuminates the darkness of ones heart. I am a Christian and I have a right to be.   I sense this almost mechanical reflects to run from the non-believer by most Christians.  We have lost our freedom of religion already, if every Christian reference must come down at the presence of a non-believer.  I must respect the non-believer, and by the same token the non-believer must also respect me.   One of our goals is to build a spirit of conviction and confidence within the minds of our moms.  They must value their roles and be able to boldy embrace the role of a mother.

We have a great work in process but we have come up with some rather creative ways to meet our goals. One that is most dearest to me, is the tea party.  The tea party protest mimicked the Boston Tea Party, but our mom's will be having traditional set down tea parties to begin conversations in reconstructing the role of moms and in bringing back God as our center.  These tea parties may be very lavish to very simple but they will have an impact within our circles of influence.  On December 12, 2009 we are asking mom's everywhere to host or sponsor a 9/12 Moms Old Fashion Tea Party.  You can visit our site to get more tips in how to conduct a tea party in your area.  Come by and check us out at http://www.the9-12moms.com/.  I hope that all of my followers will join with us on 12/12 to embark on changing our country and bringing God back as her center. Have a great day.

50 years ago blacks did not have civil rights or the right to vote.Pat Robinson and Jack van Impe say that the President is the anti-Christ, that's a heck of a dog whistle for some white supremacist to do harm to him .Why no outrage from you when President Bush destroyed the country for eight years ? People hold up signs about harming President Obama children. What type of mothers are you ? You only want his children to die, you sound like ghouls ? Don't you like Malia and Sasha ?This is not Christian and neither is Glenn Beck. Beck is a racist that hates black people .

  5. Mary:
If you have a button for the tea party let me know and I will put the date on my activism alerts section of my blog.

And Kid, before you say something about me, I was not happy with Bush in many ways, and I don't hate Obama or his children. I don't agree with his world view and my husband's skin is darker than the President's. Not agreeing with President Obama doesn't make you racist. Sooner or later you are having to let the race card go. It has gotten way too old.

It's true, Glenn Beck is not a Christian. He's a Mormon. And How DARE you insult a woman who is only trying to express her views? WHen did she say she wanted Malia and Sasha to die? When did she say she hated the Obama children?

This is classic reactionary garbage. Attack and belittle in the hopes that the person you're attacking will shut up. Not this time, and never again. We will not be silenced.

I agree. Kid's comments are proof of his (or her) ignorance. Also, the fact that those comments are made just proves that Kid is a pot stirrer. If Kid doesn't like what is said here, Kid needs to move on to another blog.

    Conservative Girl:
I think a lot of the race issue is because people don't WANT to let it go. It reminds me of the old Bugs Bunny cartoon where the moster captures Bugs and he recites, "I'm going to love it and pet it and feed it and call it George." Except they call it "racism." Those who hang onto it do it willingly. They glory in feeding it and loving it and allowing that bitterness to fester and grow. It's an addiction and instead of seeing things how they really are, the bitterness distorts fact from fiction.

  9. Thank you guys, people like Kid must result to the insane in order to find some sort of reason to hold on to supporting President Obama. He is our President and I respect him as my President. I pray for he and his family on a weekly basis and whenever it is required in between. People like kid, are so blinded that they really no longer have a grip on realty. So sad for him.

  10. Thank you so much Kim, Bryn and Just a Conservative Girl. The tea parties will be a vessel for getting moms informed. Most moms are busy trying to keep their families together and if we can serve through informing them that would be a great help.

  11. Kid, we don't care what color you are. We don't like your race baiting and your hateful words. Grow up and get the chip off your shoulder and then maybe someone will be willing to engage in debate with you on issues. All you offer is name calling and hatred. We have better things to do.

Maybe if you stop looking at yourself as a victim your attitude would improve.

  12. Hey Arthur Rex, I agree with what you said aside from the Glenn Beck comment. I am a mormon AND I AM A CHRISTIAN. Which is why our church is called, "The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints," We believe in Christ, that he atoned for and died for our sins. How can you say we aren't Christians?

Kid is resorting to the immature ridiculous statements that liberals have to resort to because they cannot debate the ISSUES.

I'm so glad you have this blog and I look forward to attending many more tea parties! Because despite what Janine Garafolo (sp, I know) says...she's wrong. We are not black man-haters and racist rednecks. We are FED UP with big govt and what they are doing to our Country!

  13. Hey Rhonda and Just a Conservative Girl, Those like kid are lost and we must pray for them. There self centeredness on their own needs trumps the good of everyone else, we should all be working together.

  14. You are so correct Mary... it is HEARTS that must turn back to God. This is the only real and lasting change. I was watching this video tonight on Youtube - http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=6-3X5hIFXYU and this is frightening and makes what you have written all the more urgent.

  15. Mary, I unfortunately must suggest that you turn on 'moderation' here at your site as it seems that one one troll-monger of hate, (I won't name him, let's just call him Kid), detracts from the otherwise pleasant discourse that you have here. If you need advice on how to do this, let me know.

Maybe you haven't seen television ,but people bring guns and monkey signs to these tea parties.People on Stormfront a racist hate site make death threats. Glenn Beck on his show make death threats against the President.Bill Oreilly said he wanted to hang his wife...but not just yet.

The Klan, Stromfront , and neo-Nazi all support one party , THE REPUBLIKLAN PARTY ! Go read it on their website yourself. Everything that Glenn beck likes or that Fox likes the Klan, Stormfront, and neo-Nazi's like. Don't you think that's strange?

Saying the word God a million times don't make you a Christian when you bring a sub-Machine Gun to where the President is at.

NO BLACK PERSON THAT I KNOW OF BROUGHT A MACHINE GUN TO WHERE GEORGE BUSH WAS AT!

No one did it to Palin , or McCain ,only the black guy.

  17. Please know the video plainly shows the man with the guns who came to the campaign rally was black. The still shot used by major networks was ONLY from collar down. When video was reviewed and camera angle widened it was one black man. No threat and with a carry permit.Police were there. At least get your facts, but it does serve your purpose better to not acknowledge truth.

  18. Mary, I thank you from the bottom of my heart for your stand with this site and your faith. I was a member of another site that just recently started but there was a "rule" that there could be NO talk of faith, of God, of our Savior because everyone worships differently.....I'm here to stay and planning a tea party for Dec.
